It'll be less focused on the architecture of computers re: transistors -> logic gates -> complex circuits (internal and external I/O) + clocks

where complex circuits can be broken down into building up two high-level circuit categories:

• combinational circuits (memory-less) which can build into adders, encoders/decoders, mux/demuxers, etc.
• sequential circuits (memory-based) which can build into flip flops, counters, registers, cache, RAM, etc.
